Florida Mall - Swatch

Pradeep, Sameer and Myself went to Florida Mall. We browsed through almost all big shops (Sears, Macys etc...) in the Florida Mall for purchasing watches. There were watches from $15 (local) to $250 (branded) and more.

We tried watches from Fossil, Swiss Gear, Guess etc.... and the list continues. Finally we came out of those big shops and went to SWATCH show room inside that Florida Mall. Sameer and Pradeep got impressed with those swatch watches and decided to buy it there. There was an offer that if the bill crosses $80 there is a 50% dicount on few limited women watches. I decided to buy 2 such watches with 50% discount, as both Sameer's and Pradeep's bills crossed $80, which i can gift it to my friends and relatives when I go back to India.

Apart from watches, Sameer also bought excellent Aviator style sunglass from Ray-ban. It was so good. I even tried and noted down an aviator style glass model number and size which fitted me. It was $99 in that shop. I came back home and searched the net and found that it is available starting at $82. Anyway, I have postponed my thought of buying that glass, as it is not my top priority. Currently buying a Digital Camera is in top priority.

While returning from Florida Mall to Cornerstone Apartment, we dropped in Starbucks to have coffee. After having coffee again we came back to bus stop and waited for bus. It didn't come. We kept on waiting for almost an hour and we lost hope of bus and started walking towards our apartment. Suddenly after some 250 meters of walk we turned back and saw the bus coming. We quickly walked forward and reached the next bus stop and got into the bus. Thus we completed our shopping for the day and reached home at about 10 pm.

Space shuttle Atlantis - Launch

It was there pending in our agenda for long time since we reached Orlando. Planned to visit atleast one Rocket launch in NASA before leaving Orlando. I never dreamt about seeing a rocket launch live in NASA in my lifetime. hmm.... somehow it came true. I feel something great when i was standing and watching the countdown.

We started from orlando in Koti's Car (TCS colleague) at 5.15pm, went and picked Chakradhar (Consultant - now working for TCS in HDS) in LYNX central station (Bus Depot), Zoomed to Collonial drive road, switched to 408 Interstate as heavy traffic in Collonial, drove some 8 miles, again caught collonial, passed trough petrolbunk to avoid signals and traffic (thereby saving some 5 mins) and moved at 10mph for about 40 mins and finally we reached Lauch view park in Titussville just 4mins before the Launch.

Oh God... No Parking space. But we didn't waste time here. Just locked the car whereever we are and headed for the countdown. 5....4....3....2....and Zoom.... It went with lot of power and glory. It formed its own cloud and pierced the sky.

As the shuttle disappeared from sight, it left behind a magnificent view.
