Fire Alarm... Run Run. AMF Bowling champion...

Yesterday (Sunday 19th Aug), In our apartment, suddenly the Fire alarm got activated. It made hell lot of noise. We quickly ( infact slowly ) came out of our house and checked for fire in any of our neighbours house. We knocked one of our neighbour's house, who is also working in our office (HDS), and could spot any fire. I, for a safety reason, took my passport immediately and evacuated the building. Later we came to know that, it is a false alarm as something went wrong with the fire alarm or someone would have played with the alarm knob.

Talking about false fire alarm reminds me of an incident that happened while i was working in a project in Coimbatore. It is a manufacturing plant, and i was part of consultant team to implement Oracle Apps E-Biz suite. On a fine day, We just went for a visit inside the plant. At that time to check how to use the fire alarm button, I just pulled a miniature metal hammer from the side of that button and immediately replaced it in the same position. After 10 sec, the fire alarm started and everyone came rushing out of the plant. Then i told people that i just tested the Fire alarm, and there is nothing to worry. Everyone got pissed (May be they would have felt happy if there was a real fire) and went back to work again.

Ok. Coming back to Orlando, On the same day, Later in the night, we felt bored of going to pool everyweekend. So we (Koti, Sam, GP and myself) went to bowling and had great time there. We went to AMF bowling which is located in OBT (Orange Blossom Trial) orlando. It cost each $14 for 2 hrs of game (including the rent of special shoe that we need to wear during playing the game). In the first two games i didn't play well as i have never been to bowling before. I was in the learning curve. Then in the third game i beat all of them comfortably and made a record score of around 133 (my highest score till that time... ha ha... out of that 3 games). But in the fourth game again i lost. (Note : It is sometimes good to loose to your friends, as if you keep on winning they will not come to play with you again.... ha ha... )

After the game, we went to Denny's Dinner Restaurent to have our dinner. It was infact a slow dinner as they served not so fast as it used to be in US joints like Tacobell or McDonalds.... etc. Hey guys... Also it was the first time for me to have food in Denny's. I can give an Average rating to it.
